• Miss Chloe Routson

    Chloe is a lifelong dancer in the areas of classical ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern and tap for over 25 years, is an Appalachian Ballet Company Alumni, a mother of 2 and a Loudon County native. Chloe fell into teaching by happenstance after having her first child, deciding to homeschool and starting a humble community service ballet program for low income families in Loudon County in 2019, which has sense expanded into what is now her studio and dance company. Chloe is the artistic director, communication liaison, main instructor and choreographer for all of her classes, but she would never survive without her village and team. She loves creating exciting curriculum for her students to thrive in the area that suits them best, and strives to make special connections with her students and their families to create a healthy partnership between parents, dancers and teachers to enhance the dance training experience in a unique way. She takes pride in building strong dancers from her youngest recreational students over time, but welcomes dancers of all walks of life.

  • Miss Abby

    ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/ CREATIVE DIRECTOR / INSTRUCTOR
    Abby has studied dance for over 20 years, with a bachelor's degree in Communications with a concentration in Technical Theatre and design. Abby plays lead roles in our productions and encourages strength and resilience in our fellow adult dancers as she dances alongside them. Her passion is in classical ballet, modern, contemporary and tap. As a young dancer, she played lead roles in Peter Pan and flew on stage, thrived in competitive dance in Cleveland and danced throughout college, soon after starting her teaching career. Abby is a creative artist and keeps our students laughing and engaging with her many surprises and hidden talents.

  • Miss Torye

    ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR

    Miss Torye is a former member of Maryville’s Appalachian Ballet Company and now a role model and lead performer for our new program, the Loudon County Dance Theatre. She has a heart for teaching and strives to make all children feel seen and valued, having teacher trained at Miss Chloe’s School of Dance for the past 4 years.

  • Miss Hannah

    SUBSTITUTE INSTRUCTOR
    Hannah has been a dancer since the age of three, receiving the majority of her dance training from Centre for the Performing Arts in Kingsport, TN. She has the most experience in Tap, Kickline, Classical Ballet, and Jazz. You can find Hannah subbing, filling in for our instructors and smiling on stage.

  • Miss Beth

    CLASSROOM ASSISTANT

    Miss Beth is thrilled to be assisting with pre-school classes. She stumbled upon adult dance classes here through wedding lessons with her husband, and ended up staying for the community and kids. She loves working with our youngest students to assist in creating our encouraging and nurturing environment. Miss Beth performs with our women’s groups, studies Ballroom, Latin and tap dance at our studio and co-teaches our recreational youth ballroom group class.

    In memory of our beloved hip hop instructor, Mr. Cameron, who inspired our students with love and compassion. May his legacy live on in our studio.
